Ahlul Bayt News Agency ; Mainstream Palestinian groups residing in Damascus firmly rejected any sort of talks with the Zionist regime. According to Arab 48 website, the Palestinian resistance groups denounced a second round of compromise talks held Tuesday in Sharm al-Sheikh, Egypt as a joint scenario by the United States and Zionist regime to secure their own interests and exterminate the Palestinian issue.
They also warned about the tragic consequences of such talks and said resistance was the only way to counter the consequences.
Khaled abd al-Majid, secretary general of the coalition of Palestinian groups said in the statement that the Palestinian groups condemn the PA return to any direct or indirect talks with Israel and consider it as a fresh oppression against the Palestinian nation.
“The terms and conditions put forward in the Sharm al-Sheikh talks are perilous to the future of Palestinian rights and bring newer national tragedies,” the statement said.
The collation is comprised of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and PFLP General Command.
